Areas we cover
Remote and on-site IT support from Ipswich across Suffolk and beyond
JM Restart supports businesses and home customers from our Ipswich base, with remote help available widely and planned on-site visits for locations up to approximately two hours away.
Local when it helps
Choose support around the job, not an artificial boundary
Some faults are best solved remotely. Others need somebody beside the device, network cabinet, printer or phone system.
We start by understanding the issue and location. Regular on-site support can be arranged for customers up to approximately two hours from Ipswich, subject to the agreement, workload, travel and the type of work. Remote support and consultancy can reach customers more widely.
How coverage is decided
- Remote triage where practical
- Routine visits under an agreed service
- Planned project and consultancy visits
- Travel and call-out terms confirmed in advance
- Urgency matched to the support agreement

Wider planned coverage
Projects and regular support beyond the immediate area
Depending on the service and travel requirements, we can discuss planned work across East Anglia and locations within roughly two hours of Ipswich. This can include Stowmarket, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Chelmsford and parts of Essex.
Customers further away may still be suitable for remote support, consultancy or a planned project. Previous customer relationships outside the normal travel area do not create an automatic promise of routine on-site coverage. We will confirm what is practical before work is agreed.
A useful first question
What actually needs to happen on site?
A postcode helps us understand travel, but the work itself determines the right support route.
We may be able to resolve account, email, software and many configuration problems remotely. Cabling, Wi-Fi surveys, hardware deployment, office moves and faults involving several physical devices are more likely to need a visit. We will explain the recommended route and any travel basis before booking.
Common questions
Coverage, explained
Do you support customers outside Suffolk?
Yes. Remote support is available more widely, and planned on-site work can be discussed for suitable projects and support arrangements.
Does two hours mean every location is automatically covered?
No. It is a practical planning guide, not a guarantee. Availability depends on the service, journey, workload, support agreement and whether remote work is more appropriate.
Can you provide regular on-site support?
Yes, where the location, service scope and visit schedule are agreed. Contract and project customers should have the travel, response and appointment basis recorded in their quotation or agreement.
Will every town get its own page?
No. We will only create a location page where we can provide useful, specific information. We will not publish thin pages that repeat the same text with a town name changed.
Tell us where you are and what needs attention
We will recommend remote help, an on-site visit or a planned project route and confirm the practical terms before work begins.
