Our gaming PC work is led by people who play games themselves. That experience helps us ask practical questions about the games, display and experience you want without assuming that every gamer needs the same specification.
The games you play, screen resolution, refresh rate and preferred settings all affect the balance between processor, graphics, memory and storage. Streaming, content creation, virtual reality, simulation equipment and large game libraries can change the answer again.
We explain those trade-offs in plain English and prepare a compatible specification for approval before parts are ordered.

The best result comes from choosing parts together rather than treating each headline number in isolation.
Processor and graphics
The processor handles general game logic and other work. The graphics card has the largest effect on visual performance in many games, but the balance depends on resolution, settings and target frame rate.
Memory and storage
Memory helps active games and applications work smoothly. Storage holds Windows, games and files. Capacity, speed, endurance and backup are separate considerations.
Power, cooling and case
The power supply, cooler, airflow and enclosure must support the selected parts safely, fit the available space and meet the agreed noise and appearance priorities.

Planning a custom gaming PC
Components, prices and availability move quickly. Each build needs a current quotation and compatibility review.
Do I need to choose all the parts myself?
No. Tell us what you play, the screen you use, what else the PC should do, your preferred look and your budget. We can prepare a specification and explain the main choices.
Can you use parts I already own?
Yes, provided the parts are suitable and compatible. We will ask for the exact models and condition so we can check size, connections, power, firmware and how they fit with the rest of the build. Customer-supplied parts are not covered by JM Restart’s hardware warranty. If a later fault could involve one of those parts, we may need to test or rule it out before accepting responsibility for the parts or work we supplied.
Can the case have a custom finish?
Yes. Paint finishes, vinyl wrapping and laser etching remain available. The suitable options depend on the case materials, design, finish and components involved. We will confirm the scope, lead time and price in the quotation before work begins.
Can you guarantee a particular frame rate?
We can use credible game, component and display information to design towards an agreed target, but performance varies with game updates, settings, drivers, temperatures and background software. Any specific test target must be written into the quotation and test plan.
Can the PC be upgraded later?
We can design with sensible expansion in mind. Future upgrades still depend on physical space, power, cooling, motherboard support and the parts available at that time.
Is there an online system builder?
Not yet, but you do not need one to get started. Tell us what you play, the screen you use, any parts you already own and your budget. We will prepare a current, compatible specification and talk you through it. We may add an online builder later, while keeping a personal review before anything is ordered.
What warranty and aftercare are included?
JM Restart provides a 12-month warranty on hardware it supplies, excluding consumables such as batteries, and a three-month warranty on labour. Your statutory rights are not affected. Some parts also have longer manufacturer warranties, which vary by product and manufacturer.
We can also clean the PC, inspect cooling, replace thermal paste where appropriate, bleed custom water-cooling systems and replace coolant. We recommend checking an all-in-one liquid cooler regularly and planning for replacement at around five years, taking account of its condition, use and the manufacturer’s guidance.
