A Razer-led workstation for a software programmer
A high-capacity custom system combining substantial processing and graphics capability with an agreed Razer visual theme and mirrored NVMe storage.
The requirement
Development capability, large storage and a consistent design theme
The customer wanted a powerful workstation for software-related use while retaining the appearance and lighting of a Razer-focused build.
The design combined a high-end processor and graphics card with 64 GB of DDR5 memory. A dedicated NVMe drive held Windows and applications, while two 8 TB NVMe drives provided high-capacity mirrored storage.
The final dual-drive storage choice was confirmed with the customer before the parts were ordered. The correspondence is retained as private project evidence; customer identity, pricing, payment information and unrelated commercial discussion are not published.

A coordinated physical design
Razer styling without ignoring the engineering
The appearance was part of the brief, but case fit, cooling, power and internal connectivity still had to work as one system.
Case and cooling
The Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic Designed by Razer case housed a Razer Hanbo Chroma 360 mm liquid CPU cooler and a three-pack of Razer Kunai Chroma fans.
Power and control
An Asus ROG Thor 1600W power supply supported the selected platform. Razer PWM and Chroma controllers plus an internal USB hub coordinated the cooling and lighting devices.
Software
The February 2024 quotation included Windows 11 Pro and Microsoft Office Professional 2021. Any current build would require a fresh licensing and suitability review.
Storage and continuity
Mirroring was one part of the design, not the backup plan
The two 8 TB NVMe drives were configured in RAID 1 so the same data was held on both drives. That can help maintain availability after one drive fails.
RAID 1 cannot provide version history or protect against accidental deletion, corruption, malware, theft or a wider hardware incident. Important data still needs a separate backup and tested recovery arrangement appropriate to the customer.
What this example demonstrates
A business workstation can combine professional requirements with a strong personal design preference. The visual theme did not remove the need to review compatibility, cooling, power, storage, software and cost as one design.
